Founded in 1971, Custom Rock Formliner has over 40 years of experience with architectural concrete projects. Since the beginning we have worked with countless architects, engineers and contractors on myriad different projects. Design
Custom Rock is always available to answer questions or provide recommendations to architects, designers and contractors; from helping choose the best pattern for any architectural design vision, to addressing a design feature or finding a way to keep a formliner project under budget.
During the design phase we can address unique design elements that are specific to a project and help answer questions on a wide variety of topics, ranging from applying texture to unusually shaped columns to finding creative ways to hide seams or joints within the texture.
Construction
In this phase, the contractor must take the architect’s dream and transform it into the owner’s reality. All designs start on paper, but it takes a thorough understanding of concrete construction to make it actually tangible.
In rare cases, there are design elements that cannot be constructed in the field. This is not to say the job cannot be done, but that it may require additional time and expense. If this is the case, we work with both the architect and the contractor to discuss options.
